I wish I had more power
power to stop you in your tracks
to stop others too
to stop you all from dying
which you will

I once sat down with a man who says he is born again
to see if we couldn't save my soul
he tried to repair my faith
but it was gone
I asked him why so many people had to suffer
and why so many had to die
he said
"You know what your problem is?
You want to be God"

Back then
It wasn't true
