Jack Daniels is no longer a friend of mine
it's not enough to lose control
you have to gain something
but I lost the will to care
I lost values and pride
so that now I'm turning reckless
and seeing what comes undone
and trying to undo anything
I find which has been bound together
and trying to abandon myself
like an empty building
to see who else might move in
and make this place
their home

Jack Daniels cannot be my running partner
he just slows me down
